UK Indie Lit Fest 2016

On Saturday 23rd July 2016 the very first UK Indie Lit Festival took place in Bradford, UK.

It was an honor to be a part of this event, which saw over 30 authors on attendance.

The event had author signings, workshops, readings and author Q+A sessions.

This was also the very first multi-author event I had ever been to, and I enjoyed every minute of it. I met some very talented authors who inspire me to continue in my own writing career.

As well as a successful day this event also produced an Anthology - a book of collective works by a number of the attending authors. The book is called 'Indie Visible' and is available to purchase on Amazon as a kindle or paperback addition.

For this I decided to write a brand new piece, a short prequel to 'D: Whitby's Darkest Secret' - which has been given the name 'Darkest Beginnings.'

Thank you to all involved in making this day so much fun. I know have the confidence to attend other multi-author events which I hope to do next year, and hopefully Indie Fest will return next year with even more fun packed activities.

Non-authors remember...these events are open for you all to come along to, you can meet authors, purchased signed books and attends workshops/talks or any other sessions happening during the day.
